Amelie Legare hails from “La Belle Province” of Quebec. An animal lover who had a sheep named Caroline as a child, Amelie’s first job was selling asparagus at the age of seven. She now lives on Easy Street in Whistler with her best canine bud, Bob, a 100-pound, brindled mutt. A beekeeper, avid gardener and home chef in her spare time, Amelie also lives for DH and XC biking, snowboarding, wake surfing and being outside with her friends.
When it comes to work, Amelie is a typography geek who won two grants while obtaining her communications degree at Université Laval. She looks after the Art Direction, Design and Production Management for all the Mountain Life Media publications, including the Coast Mountains magazine which was awarded Best Magazine of the Year in 2010 by Western Magazine Awards.
